Whether you have been dreaming about an editorial studio maternity session, or an outdoor location that captures the beauty of you AND the Pacific Northwest, I've got you covered. Your body is amazing and making a new little person! You deserve the best to celebrate this time in your life. I will guide you through everything, from professional hair and makeup, to outfits, to what to do with your hands. Your experience will be stress-free, and more importantly, fun!

2. let's make it official
If we are an awesome fit and you're ready to get on my calendar - let's make it all official! I will send you over the agreement and invoice for your $300 session retainer. If you choose, I will get you booked in with my favorite hair and makeup artist at the studio right before our session so you will be looking and feeling your best! My whole client closet is available for you as well! All the dresses you see here in my portfolio are in my client closet for you to use, and more! I'm always keeping an eye out for the most flattering, photogenic dresses and fabric available!

I know every mama wants to look absolutely stunning for her maternity session. It's a celebration of all you have gone through to get to this point! Studio sessions take place at my studio located at 5201 SW Westgate Dr., #228, Portland, Oregon 97221. If you would like outdoors as well, that's available. All of my outdoor locations are natural beauty- fields and places with pretty views. If you choose an outdoor session, it will be close to sunset for that soft, golden light that is so flattering. We will plan out our start time depending on what season it is, with the outfits you feel most beautiful in and go from there!
4. The big day
The day has come and it's session time! I am of course, super excited to see you! After you go through hair and makeup at the studio, we will typically start in studio and then move outside we will explore the scenery together to get you in the most beautiful places and light. I will go through my workflow to get a variety of looks. I will direct you every step of the way and work around your comfort level. You may have picked to do several outfits while we are outdoors, so I'm happy to provide a changing tent. The whole thing will take about an hour per location and your partner is totally welcome as well!
5. your photographs
A week after your session, I will send over your soft proofed images of you looking gorgeous to your email. You will pick your favorites, and I will deliver the final product within a week! From there, we will figure out how you would like to save these images for generations to come! Your final gallery will have options to order an album, canvases, framed prints, and more! There is no obligation to purchase from me, since every collection comes with the high-resolution digital images. But it's an easy, high quality option there for you!
My pricing is easy. It's just a $300 nonrefundable retainer due at booking to cover my time and talent during your maternity session and all pre-planning of location, client closet outfits, session prep guide, etc.
After your session, you will receive an online gallery of your image proofs, There, you will choose which images you love! Your retainer applies directly to your chosen image collection.
Professional hair and makeup available.
Maternity sessions are typically done between 28 and 34 weeks, when your belly is nice and round but you are still able to move around easily and are comfortable. My studio is located on the Westside of Portland and fully stocked to create your perfect portrait experience. For those wanting outdoors, I have selected locations around Hillsboro, Beaverton, the Columbia River Gorge, and the Coast for their beautiful light and scenery.

I have a curated collection of beautiful gowns for you to choose from. Of course, you are welcome to wear something of your own too, and I will recommend boutiques that I know will come in time and be quality. I want your experience to be as easy as possible so I will help you plan everything.
Every image collection comes with a complimentary artwork credit so you can get these memories into your hands, not just your hard drive.You are going to want to remember this very fleeting time, when you were growing your perfect baby. I have professionally printed, heirloom quality artwork available for you in your online gallery to keep your memories for generations to come.
