One of Portland, Oregon’s leading providers of doula services, the Doula Love Family of Companies, offers Childbirth Education, Birth Professional Training, father services, and Placenta Preparation Services. Doula Love is the creation of Wendy Scharp, birth and postpartum doula, placenta preparation specialist, and childbirth educator. While many people are familiar with at least one of the companies in the family, they wish for everyone to know that The Portland Doula Love Family of Companies is composed of 4 companies with one common goal.
Since 2012, Wendy and Shawn have owned Doula Love LLC. At Doula Love, they don’t focus on just getting the baby out; they want your child’s birth to be an amazing and transformative experience. Doula Love, as an organization, is looking to support families during such a fantastic transition. Owners Wendy and Shawn have spent a large portion of their careers working in the field of addiction, homelessness, and mental health. After years of seeing the effects of broken families, the couple decided to dedicate their lives to helping families stay well and offering a step up to parents who may be struggling with their transition into parenthood.
Doula Love LLC offers a variety of supportive services. They provide professional doula care and student doula care. A few of their services include birth doula services, postpartum doula services, sibling support services, night nanny care, and placenta services.
